Ski Schools
If your holiday is in high season, it would be advisable to book your ski lessons in advance, as the ski Schools get quite full. We will be happy to get prices and book lessons for you, just let us know your requirements. If you want to browse the internet, we have listed the link for three English run ski schools in Meribel, Ski Academy, Magic in Motion and New Generation. Alternatively have a look at one of the two tourist information sites above for a list of more ski schools.
Child Minding
There is an English run playgroup/nanny service in Les Allues, called Kids etcetera. Please have a look at their website for details.
Easyjet
Easyjet - flights to Geneva or Lyon Transfer times from Geneva or Lyon to Meribel is approximately 2 hours.
Ryan Air
Ryanair - Flights to St. Etienne Transfer time to Meribel from St. Etienne is Approximately 2.5 to 3 hrs
Transfers
From the airport you can either hire a car or you can book a bus transfer. For bus transfers, we suggest you try ATS or Ski Link. As always it is advisable to book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
Self Drive
It's approximately 600 miles from Calais to Le Cruet and the approx journey time is 8 to 10 hours. Its motorway most of the way and tolls are approx £40 each way in a normal family car (larger vehicles are more). A couple of options for crossing the channel are Eurotunnel, Seafrance, Hoverspeed and P&O Stenaline.
